Steve Luczo led Seagate Technology for most of two decades. He joined in 1993 as senior vice president of corporate development and became CEO in 1998. He stepped down as CEO in 2004 but stayed on as chairman, and the board brought him back as CEO from 2009 to 2017. Before Seagate, he was a senior managing director in Bear Stearns' global technology group. He is a co-founder and senior partner at Crosspoint Capital Partners, which launched in 2020, and sits on AT&T's board.
