About
Darragh Buckley founded Increase in 2020. Increase is a banking API that now moves roughly $500 billion a year for companies including Stripe, Ramp and Check. In 2025 he bought a controlling stake in Twin City Bancorp, the holding company of a community bank in Longview, Washington, which relaunched as Increase Bank in July 2026. He was Stripe's first employee, joining in 2010, and in six years there set up their bank partnerships and managed the Wells Fargo relationship.
