Greg Smith
About
Greg Smith has chaired American Airlines' board since April 2023, after joining it as a director in January 2022. For nearly a decade before that he was Boeing's CFO, a job that covered manufacturing, supply chain and quality as well as finance. After Dennis Muilenburg left at the end of 2019, Smith served as interim CEO and spent much of his final stretch at Boeing getting the 737 Max back in the air. In 2024, he co-founded G2 Equity Partners.
