Omer Ismail has run OnePay as chief executive since 2021, when he left Goldman Sachs for the Walmart-backed fintech. The app covers banking, credit, investing, crypto and tax filing, and has passed seven million users. He spent eighteen years at Goldman and finished there building Marcus, their consumer bank, as a partner and head of the consumer business. By March 2020 Marcus held $72 billion in deposits.
