No. Lightspeed stays exactly where it is. Jolly reads from it so that Incentive Campaigns™ are measured on what your operation actually did, rather than on numbers people report at the end of the week.

Does Jolly write anything back to Lightspeed?

Accepted Answer

No. Every Jolly integration is read-only. Jolly reads the operational data a campaign is measured on, and nothing moves in the other direction. Connecting Lightspeed does not change what your team does in it, what it contains, or how it behaves for the people who use it every day.

How does a Lightspeed connection get set up?

Integrations are scoped with your team during implementation, alongside the rest of the rollout rather than as a separate project. Tell us what you run and we take it from there, including systems that are not yet in our catalog and systems you are already planning to replace.

Do workers have to do anything differently at the register?

No. They ring sales the way they already do. The campaign is measured on the same transactions Lightspeed was going to record anyway, and each worker sees their goal and their progress in the Jolly app rather than on the terminal.

Can a campaign target one location or one shift?

Yes. A campaign audience can be a whole workforce, a single location, a specific shift, a job role, or a custom segment. Timing is the reason this matters on a point of sale system: it is what makes a goal on a single daypart measurable rather than notional.
